UPGRADE TO PHP 7 ON SHARED HOST USING CPANEL

This is a step not required to install WordPress, but it will make your website professional and safer, faster speed from the latest technology. As in the introduction you already know that WordPress requires PHP 5.6 or higher and most optimized PHP 7 or above, so it is fully compatible with PHP version 7.

Note: This guide applies to the installation of new WordPress website under the basic WordPress learning, if you already have WordPress website available, then if after the upgrade page error or error 500, change back to the session. PHP 5.6 because you can use theme / plugin not suitable for PHP 7. UPGRADE PHP 7 AND OPTIMIZE PHP First you access cPanel and find the Select PHP Version. In the PHP Version, you choose 7.0 or 7.1, preferably 7.0. Then press the Set as current button. Then select the option Opcache and press the Save button. Then go to Switch to PHP Options at the right hand corner. And in turn adjust the parameters as follows (if already preset is not needed):  date.timezone: Asia / Ho_Chi_Minh  max_execution_time: 120  memory_limit: 256M or higher also.  sendmail_path: / usr / sbin / sendmail -t -i  post_max_size: 16M  upload_max_filesize: 16M The remaining parameters remain the same. Then press the Save button. So you have to upgrade PHP to PHP 7 complete on Shared Hosting using the cPanel control panel then.
