PLEASE APACHE AND NGINX PROXY UP TO VPS IN DIGITALOCEAN WITH SERVERPILOT

When using VPS or dedicated server for personal use, sometimes we do not need to use control panels such as cPanel, DirectAdmin or other free control panels such as CWP, Vesta ... because the control panel Usually quite heavy and there are many features you may not need.

Meanwhile, the optimization is to manually install the software on the server and then administer it through the command line, or use the scripts automatically installed as Centminmod, EasyEngine is probably the best solution because it will be very lightweight much, enhance the performance of the use. But if you're not used to managing command lines, but do not want to use the control panel to save resources, you can use ServerPilot - a service that helps you administer applications in dedicated servers. VPS at DigitalOcean. What is ServerPilot?
ServerPilot is a free service (with a premium option) that allows you to manually install PHP server-related software such as Apache (using NGINX as the front-end), PHP-FPM and MySQL. But the important point of ServerPilot is that it will make it easy to manage your server and administer the site as you can add domains right at the ServerPilot management page, creating a quick database to use. It also has a built-in firewall for server security.
In paid packages, you have the option of monitoring your server so you can easily evaluate the performance of your website.
In general, ServerPilot is easy to use because you will not need to do anything but just run the command, and then you will not need to log into the VPS anymore, just manage it through the ServerPilot page.
Note
To use ServerPilot, your VPS must be in DigitalOcean, completely new and Ubuntu 64.04 64-bits.
Install ServerPilot
First you need a completely new VPS, use Ubuntu 14.04 64-bits at DigitalOcean and visit the ServerPilot homepage to create a free account. Then login, go to Server >> Connect Server.
Here, you enter the IP of the VPS to connect to and set the password for user serverpilot (later you can access SSH / sFTP with this user to administer without using root account). Next, you access the VPS SSH by root and then copy the command that ServerPilot lets you install, copy and paste. Once installed, ServerPilot will automatically connect to your server, install the software (takes about 10 minutes or more).
Occasionally ServerPilot will encounter some problems during installation. If it says "spin a new server and try again" then you should delete the VPS and create another one.
Use ServerPilot
Keep in mind that ServerPilot is not a complete control panel, so do not expect too much from it, it will install the necessary software and support you add domains, create a database into VPS. So much that I have enough already. To use ServerPilot, go to Apps >> Create App, name the app, select the PHP version, select the server, set the domain for the application and select the user to execute these applications on. system. Soon, you will know the path of this domain on the server so you just upload the source code (remember to log in as serverpilot user).
